Tim Fitzgerald, AIF®, is a Retirement Plan Advisor at MJP Wealth Advisors and has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He works with a variety of clients at MJP Wealth Advisors, focusing primarily on helping organizations, executives, and business owners manage their employer sponsored retirement plans.

Bringing a well-informed perspective and deep industry experience, Tim creates a customized retirement plan strategy that aligns to the needs of his clients. He provides comprehensive retirement plan consulting to plan sponsors and trustees, including plan design analysis, fiduciary risk management, service provider benchmarking, investment due diligence and employee education. Tim serves as a co-fiduciary to the plan, helping to reduce fiduciary risk and personal liability for plan trustees.

Prior to joining MJP Wealth Advisors, Tim was a Vice President and Retirement Plan Advisor at Webster Investments, where he advised corporations, not-for-profit organizations, and municipalities on all aspects of their retirement plans.

Tim received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pace University. He is an Investment Advisor Representative and holds Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations, as well as a life and health insurance license. Tim also holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) Designation, demonstrating that he has a fundamental understanding of the principles of fiduciary duty.

Over the years, Tim has coached travel basketball and acted as a mentor for the youth group at his local church. He serves as a board member for the Kyle Bedinger Memorial Trust, which provides funding for youth sports in Nashua, NH. Tim currently resides in Madison, CT where he and his wife of 30 years have raised four children. In his spare time, Tim enjoys running, golfing, and catching sunsets at the beach.
